DESCRIPTION

A chambered coverslip with 8 individual wells, high walls, and a #1.5H glass coverslip bottom, suitable for use in TIRF and single molecule applications

  • A cell culture chamber for observation of the sample through a glass coverslip bottom using high resolution microscopy
  • Brilliant cell imaging thanks to the low thickness variability of the coverslips’ glass
  • Cost-effective experiments using small numbers of cells and low volumes of reagents
  • Extra high individual walls to keep cross contamination between wells as low as possible
  • A chambered coverslip with 8 individual wells, high walls, and a #1.5H glass coverslip bottom, suitable for use in TIRF and single molecule applications
  • Surface Modification: #1.5H (170 µm +/- 5 µm) D 263 M Schott glass, sterilized
    Pcs./Box: 15 (individually packed)
  • Surface Modification: #1.5H (170 µm +/- 5 µm) D 263 M Schott glass, sterilized
    Pcs./Box: 90 (individually packed)
  • Surface Modification: #1.5H (170 µm +/- 5 µm) D 263 M Schott glass, sterilized

The Principle of the µ-Slide 8 Well high

The Coverslip Bottom

The µ-Slide 8 Well high Glass Bottom comes with a high precision D263 M Schott glass, No 1.5H (170 +/– 5 µm) Glass Coverslip bottom. This bottom is ideally suitable for high-resolution microscopy and special microscopic applications like TIRF or super-resolution.

Application Examples

Immunofluorescence

The ibidi µ-Slide 8 Well high Glass Bottom allows for standard immunofluorescence protocols to be employed without the use of coverslips in an all-in-one chamber. All steps (e.g., cell cultivation, fixation, staining, and imaging) are carried out in the open well geometry. After staining, the sample can be observed through the coverslip bottom using high-resolution microscopy.

Live Cell Imaging

The µ-Slide 8 Well high Glass Bottom enables high-resolution live cell imaging using different brightfield and fluorescence techniques including TIRF and super-resolution microscopy.

Together with the ibidi Stage Top Incubation System, you can keep your cells happy for a long time by precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and CO2 concentration on your microscope.
